Permanent opportunity for Community Psychiatrist role in New Zealand

Our client in the Lower North Island is currently loking to recruit a dedicated General Adult Psychiatrist to join the Mental Health and Addiction Service. This role will see you working primarily in a community setting, with a flexibility to work in an inpatient setting where required. 

The hospital over the past two years have redelvoped the service with a new leadership team in place to enhance the Mental Health service currently provided to patients in the region. With this they are lookng to provide a full intergrated Mental Health service to the local community. These include but are not limited to:

• Child & Adolecent family mental health services  
• Community adult services  
• Specialist Maori mental health services 
• Specialist services for Mental Health for the elderly 
• General hospital liaison psychiatry 
• Intensive community rehabilitation services.

Requirements

• MCNZ Registration in New Zealand or be eligible for registration in NZ
• Minimum 12 months working in Psychiatry 
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Be legally eligible to work in New Zealand
